Amanda graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chadron State College in Chadron, NE in 2002. Upon graduating she worked several years for the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff and Criminal Investigator. A change in her career path brought her to NAU where she fell in love with higher education and found her true passion in assisting students achieve their educational goals. Her diverse work background has allowed her to connect with students from all walks of life. 

Amanda started as an admissions advisor in November 2010 at NAU and has served in various roles within admissions, academics, and career services. She has also taken graduate classes through NAU and has set a goal of receiving her Master of Management degree. Being a student has given her the ability to appreciate the hard work and determination NAU students possess in their pursuit of graduation.
